SocialWatt National Seminar “Energy poverty. Challenges vs. alleviating measures”
The SocialWatt project (www.socialwatt.eu) funded by the EU’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme, enables energy suppliers and utilities to develop, adopt, implement and spread innovative energy poverty schemes across Europe. More specifically, the project aims to enable energy suppliers and utilities to build their capacity and use tools developed within the framework of the project to effectively engage with their customers and implement schemes that aim to alleviate energy poverty.
The national hybrid seminar titled “Energy poverty. Challenges vs. mitigating measures” took place on November 29, 2022. The event focused on both the problem of energy poverty and the solutions to alleviate it. Experts on energy poverty and representatives from utilities and academic institutions presented their experience and knowledge. The SocialWatt project, its objectives, target groups and key outputs were also presented.
