ISPE DESIGN and CONSULTING involved, at European level, in the transition towards sustainable energy systems

TRACER Project “Transition in coal intensive regions„ (www.tracer-h2020.eu) was officially launched on 14-16 May 2019 in Finsterwalde (Germany), where the Kick-off meeting, stakeholder discussion as well as the first study tour took place. ISPE DESIGN and CONSULTING together with AISVJ – Jiu Valley Social Institute Association are European partners in the consortium led by WIP Renewable Energies from Germany, which includes 15 members from 11 countries. TRACER main objective is to support 9 (nine) coal-intensive regions around Europe to design (or re-design) their Research and Innovation (R&I) Strategies in order to facilitate their transition towards a sustainable energy system.

Target regions of TRACER project are: Lusatia Region (Brandenburg DE40 and Dresden DED2), West Macedonia (EL53 – Greece), Wales (UKL1, UKL2), Southeast Region (BG34 – Bulgaria), Jiu Valley / West Region (RO42 – Romania), Kolubara region (Serbia), Donetsk region (Ukraine), Upper Silesia (PL22 – Poland), North West Bohemia (CZ04 – Czech Republic).

TRACER received funding from European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme – call LC-SC3-CC-6-2018, under grant agreement No. 836819.
