The Global CCS Institute is offering once again its support for the CCS technology implementation in Romania

On 26th January was held the 2nd Annual Brussels Carbon Capture & Storage Summit 2011 having as major theme the CCS demo projects development.

This high level conference gathered more than 100 delegates from the industry, NGO’s and EU institutions members such as Derek Taylor, Regional Representative Europe, Global CCS Institute; Graeme Sweeney, Chairman, Zero Emissions Platform (ZEP); Martina Doppelhammer, Legal Advisor, DG Climate Action, European Comission; Phillip Lowe, General Director, DG Energy, European Comission.

The Twenty-Fourth International Conference on Solid Waste Technology and Management

On 15-18 of march 2009 in Philadelphia was held the XXIVth International Conference on Solid Waste Technology and Management, organised by Widener University and „The Journal of Solid Waste Technologies and Management”, USA.

Within this important international event ISPE was represented by Mrs. Luminiţa Atudorei, Ph.D. and Mr. Alexei Atudorei, Ph.D. from the Energy and Environment Division. They had a great success with the paper entitled Technical, Economical and Social Solutions for Integrated and Sustainable Waste Management Systems in Rural Areas in Romania.
