ISPE - The first success project in municipal integrated waste management

Ph.D.Eng. Alexei Atudorei, Head of Waste Management Team – Environmental Engineering Department, Energy and Environment Division, ISPE Bucharest, has proposed as a solution the application of a new technology, by which this problem will be solved and this will bring savings up to 6.5 million EUR/year in methane gas. The investment value is up to 118 million EUR, money which may come from European funds.
This type of installation is new for Romania and it will be implemented within the cogeneration plant CET Sud Timisoara.
