Clean Coal Combustion in Deva TPP, Paroseni CHPP and Doicesti TPP
The SOCOIN Association, Spain - ISPE, Romania has been declared winner at the “Preparing Clean Coal projects in Romania – Deva-Paroşeni-Doiceşti” project bid.
ISPE in association with the Spanish company SOCOIN INGINERIA (belonging to the Union Fenosa electric power group) has handed in the Expression of Interest for participating to the announce launched by The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The SOCOIN-ISPE association was selected to deposit the tehnical-economical offert together with other Spanish important electric power field companies such as: IDOM in association with Tractebel, PB Spain and Iberdrola.
The project has as topic the assistance gave to EBRD(as the project’s financier) and to Termoelectrica (as final client) during the three power station modernization. This modernization program will take place through 2 potential mixt societies between Termoelectrica and other private investors and will be divided in two parts:
The first part - modernization of Deva and Paroseni
The second part - replacing the existing Doicesti units with a new unit.
The “Preparing Clean Coal Projects in Romania – Deva-Paroşeni-Doiceşti” project will compare the capabilities which are to be rehabilitated and those which will be replaced, by using the best available technics such as they are defined by the EU. The client will have to identify the most appropiate Deva, Paroseni, Doicesti modernisation technics which will improve the general performances, the power energy efficiency and will reduce the environment impact by implementing the latest clean coal combustion technics.
