ISPE celebrated 60 years of excelency
ISPE celebrated on Thursday, 4th of June 2009, 60 years from its foundation. The event was underlined by a festive meeting held at the Romanian Parliament House, I. C. Brătianu Conference Hall, and gathered around 500 de invitees - representatives from the Romanian Government, Romanian Parliament, members of the Romanian Academy, local administrations from Bucharest and all over Romania, Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, banks such as BRD - GSG, Alpha Bank, CEC Bank, Eximbank, Universities from Bucharest, Timisoara, Oradea, Brasov, etc., partners and clients from Romania and abroad – Transelectrica, Electrica, Hidroelectrica, ELCEN, OMV Petrom, ABB, METKA, EGY, ANSALDO, Deloitte, ENEL, CEZ, E.ON and many others, together with our ISPE employees and seniors.
Several important invitees took the floor, out of which we mention: Mr. Adriean Videanu, Ministry of Economy; Mrs. Sulfina Barbu – Chairperson of the Parliamentary Committee for Public Administration, Landscape Management and Ecologic Balance; Mr. Iulian Iancu – Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for Industry and Services; Mr. Ion Iliescu – who started his professional carrier in ISPE; Mr. Viorel Gafiţa – President Romelectro; Mr. Gleb Drăgan – member of the Romanian Academy; Mr. Adrian Badea – Principal of the Politehnica Univesity in Bucharest; Mr. Constantin Bălăşoiu – General Director of Complexul Energetic Craiova; Mr. Simon Peter – President ABB România; Mr. Mike Fleming – PB Power; Mr. Claudio Zito – Country Manager ENEL.
The 60th anniversary from the foundation of the Institute for Studies and Power Engineering is the occasion of a worthed elogium brought to those that contributed to the prestige that the company has nowadays, both in Romania and abroad. We are grateful to all of them!
This year we are celebrating two important events for ISPE: 60 years ago ISPE became a symbol in the Romanian energy field and 40 years ago was inaugurated ISPE Bucharest headquarter.
