EU - ETS Risks diminishing. Monitoring, reporting and operating of CO2 emissions
The international workshop "EU - ETS Risks diminishing. Monitoring, reporting and operating of CO2 emissions" was organized by ISPE together with Eninvest from Romania and ATMOTERM from Poland.
The objective of the EU scheme regarding the trading allowances covering emissions of green house gas is doing their promotion by economic agents who can generate this type of emissions in order the EU directives to be cheaper. The main topics of the meeting were: combustion plants, oil refineries, coke ovens, iron and steel plants, cement factories, glass, lime, brick, ceramics, pulp and paper.
The goal of this seminar was to share the experience of polish and European companies, as participants to the ETS system, to discuss about fears and problems of Romanian companies in relation with new issues of CO2 Emissions Trade System and to present a tried tools' set, that supported companies in fulfilling obligations, as a result of their participation in ETS. ATMOTERM Poland made a software presentation, a management tool that can help Romanian operators in controlling CO2 emission aspects laid out by the EU - ETS directives.
