“Complexul Energetic” Turceni - Environment Integrated Permit documentation

Short description:

Taking into account the need to fulfill in due time the liabilities assumed by Romania within the negotiation process with the European Commission related to chapter 22 "Environmental protection", EC Directive no. 96/61 concerning pollution integrated prevention and control including additional changes has been converted in the governmental ordinance no. 152/2005.
According to the legal provisions in force, "Complexul Energetic" Turceni has to obtain the environment integrated permit both for the thermal power plant and for the ash and slag storages.

These documents performed by ISPE have been among the first ones performed in order to obtain an environmental integrated permit. The documentation has been approved by the client and in under approval at the Environmental Protection Agency Gorj county (July 2006).

Large firing installations (IMA):

Turceni TPP is a power plant based on block diagram - units no. 37 are each provided with the following equipment:

• one steam boiler of 1035 t/h, 192/48.5 bar, 540/540oC
• one steam turbine of 330 MW, 180.4 bar, 535/535oC
• one electric generator of 330 MW/388 MVA, 24 kV, 50 Hz one electric transformer of 400 MVA, 24/400 kV
