Case studies

Wind farms - Valea Dacilor and Pestera

Short description:

In Constanţa district there will be assembled in two locations - Valea Dacilor and Pestera – 117 turbines type VESTAS-V100 with a nominal power of 3 MW (in optimal wind conditions).

For this project there are under performance studies about the Environmental Impact Assessment and reports for every location.

In these studies are analyzed positive aspects like environment friendly character, also possible negative aspects concerning noise and biodiversity.

Services offered:

Estimated technical performances:

Technical performances are connected with the environmental friendly character of wind turbines and with the fact that the resource used to produce electrical energy is wind witch is renewable.

A wind turbine will produce a maximum of 3 MWe of electric energy just by converting the wind power so without burning any conventional fossil fuel witch therefore consist in not emitting CO2 or other polluting emissions in air, water, soil.
The obtained reduction of CO2 is approximate at 500,000 tones CO2/ year, at estimate production of 772,200 MWh/year.

Estimated economic efficiency:

Investment costs are relative higher than those for conventional power plant for the same installed power on a site.

Operating and maintenance costs are significantly lower because the resource converted into electrical energy is free. Additional money will be obtained from using Green Certificates.
