400kV Gadalin substation is one important power node for NPS, ensuring the inter-connection between three important substations of Northern Transylvania zone: Iernut, Cluj Est and Rosiori substations (UCTE inter-connecting substation).

ISPE performed the basic design and tender documents for the execution for construction-erection works, detail design and technical assistance for the rehabilitation of 110 kV and 220 kV FAI substation.

Increasing NPS reliability degree by upgrading Iernut 400/220/110 kV substation

ISPE performed design activities and granted technical assistance for the connection of the units of Iernut TPP – G1 and G2 of 100 MW to 220 kV voltage, G3 and G4 of 100 MW to 110 kV voltage at the rehabilitated substation of 400/220/110 kV.

Conversion to 400 kV voltage of “Gutinas Bacau Sud – Roman Nord – Suceava” national power system axis

For the conversion to 400 kV voltage of “Gutinas Bacau Sud – Roman Nord – Suceava” national power system axis ISPE performed the feasibility study which analyzed the opportunity and need to convert to 400 kV some of the 220 kV transmission networks in the Northern Moldavian area.

Optical fiber conductor installing and insulation changing 400 kV and 220 kV)

ISPE performed for Fujikura company the detail design for optical fiber mounting and insulation changing for 900 km of OHTL to perform the interconnection between National Power Dispatcher and main locations in the territory. The project includes the interconnection between Romanian Power System and Hungarian Power System.

Extension of electrical substations – Sonelgaz - Algeria

ISPE offered consulting services for the extension of five substations by enlarging them with one transformer cell (primary circuits, secondary circuits, grounding installations).

400/200/110 kV Brazi Vest electrical substation equipped with outdoor enclosed cells

The modernization of Brazi Vest substation included the replacing of existing air-insulated electrical equipment with high performance modern equipment i.e. 400 and 220 kV SF6-GUIS type insulated enclosed cells.

Rehabilitation of the dispatching transmission system of Transelectrica

As general designer, ISPE performed the last stage of Transelectrica telecommunications network design (900 km) for the interconnection of the National Power Dispatcher to the main locations in the territory (territorial dispatchers, transforming substations, hydro power plants etc.).
