Connection studies for Wind Power Plant

Short description:

Since 2006 ISPE performed the largest number of connection studies for WPP (Wind Power Plant) in Romania.
According to Romanian laws, these studies are performed in order to obtain the Connection Technical Permits and, at the end, Connection Contracts and Establishment Authorisation for the WPP.
ISPE performed connection studies for WPP with nominal power between 0.6MW and 1242MW, connected from 20kV up to 400kV grids.
Based on the experience gained, ISPE proposed grid reinforcement solutions for distribution and transmission network and, in accordance with international regulations, a set of rules for the connection of wind generators and WPP to the power system.
