Promoting the use of Structural and Cohesion funds for energy projects in EU countries (PromoSCene)
Short description:
This project is an integrated action aiming to increase the use of Structural funds (SF) and Cohesion funds (FC) for investments in developing renewable energy sources and rational use of energy in the new member states and candidate countries. Authorities responsible for managing these funds (for example, structural funds managers) are trained for streamlinng activities related to SF and FC (administrative, management, promoting, etc.). Effective ways of communicating are established between structural funds managers, national energy agencies and other parties involved.Disemination activities:
• National Information Seminar on the situation of accessing FS and FC in the target countries – are organized in all countries that are new EU entrants
• National Training Seminar with national fund managers, consulting companies and potential beneficiaries of FS and FC –organized in all new EU countries
