Bucharest-Progresu CHPP – Rehabilitation of process control systems – boilers no. 3 and 4
Short description:
The activities are related to:
- Integrating the low NOx burning equipment (controlled by its own BMS - Burner Management System) within a DCS system for boiler control.
- Integrating the existing DCS for control loop and boiler protection within the DCS system for boiler control.
- Taking over through DCS of the rest of process functions so that the boiler to be controlled entirely by DCS.
Thus, the existing DCS will perform the following functions:
- operation interface for burners control by serial coupling with BMS.
- control displays pertaining to burners showing all parameters for component conditions as well as adequate control boxes have been performed on DCS operation stations.
- elements control on general circuits for fuel, ignition air, pulverized steam as well as of all boiler technological circuits (control, interlockings, monitoring).
- burners can be started-up/stopped either locally from burner box or from CCT (technological control room) by the operation station.
Services offered:
- Basic engineering
- Detail engineering for BMS interface
- Detail engineering for DCS extension
- Erection documentation
- Operation station image configuring
- Technical asistance during erection and commissioning
Estimated technical performances:
- Real life time extension;
- Plant increased availability;
- Plant efficiency improving;
- Optimization of personnel required for different levels;
- Costs reduction.
